Sunday School - 9:00AM & 10:30AM 

Sunday School for children from preschool to fifth grade takes place during the 9:00AM and 10:30am worship services. Children begin in worship with their parents, then are led down to Sunday School after Pastor Bob's children's sermon. 

 We believe that children need to experience the faith community to feel a part of it and worship with all ages.  Studies have shown if children never experience church while growing up they will not think to attend as an adult.  So, if you hear kid noises in church, celebrate!

9am Sunday School is done by grade level using a curriculum that focuses on the great stories of the Bible. We begin in the fellowship hall for singing, offering and prayer before the children are dismissed to their classes.  Volunteers are a wonderful part of this ministry who find it fun and fullfilling to join in what God is doing here.

10:30 Service the children will again be dismissed after the children's sermon to a multi-age class to have Sunday School. 

The focus of fall memorization in Sunday School will be the 10 commandaments. Last spring we learned The Lord's Prayer. By January or February we will start The Apostle's Creed. Our motivation is to prepare them for life and also the life of the church, to do so we teach the foundations of the faith.When we memorize foundational truths, they become part of us. It is ultimately what we believe that we act on and says who we are.

Nursery

Nursery care is availible for children ages 2 and under at both the 9:00am and 10:30am services.

Acolytes

Acolytes—Lighting the candles in church is an important way to serve and acolyte training happens every fall for 3rd graders only. If you have a 3rd grade child who is interested please contact Karen Ellis our children's ministry director.
